Summer is a time for outdoor activities and our supported individuals love to have fun and stay active by taking a ride on their cycles. Some have the ability to balance and pedal on two wheels, and for others three wheels helps provide them the stability and independence to ride with their friends.
Those needing a little extra help can also join in the fun and freedom of cycling using specially designed adapted cycles that allow them to sit comfortably in their own chariot, with help from a friend to do the pedaling. These bikes provide a safe and enjoyable way for all of our residents to experience the joy of cycling and feel the wind in their hair.
As you can see by the bright smiles on their faces, the experience was life-changing. Activities like this are truly heartwarming and inspiring. It is a reminder that everyone, regardless of their abilities, deserves to experience the simple pleasures that life has to offer.
